Stop Smoking Support in your Doctor’s Surgery

All GP surgeries are be happy to advise on quitting smoking and many run a service where the practice nurse will offer you one to one support over the weeks of your quit.  Click here to see if your surgery can do that.  Any medication you choose to help you quit (nicotine replacement therapy, varenicline or buproprion) is available on prescription.

Stop Smoking Support in Pharmacies

Your local pharmacy may be able to help you stop smoking?  Many of our pharmacy staff are trained stop smoking advisors, and can give you one to one support to help you stop smoking. Click here to find a pharmacy near you that runs this service.  Pharmacy support is free, and the pharmacist can give you nicotine replacement therapy at prescription prices.

Remember, you are up to four times more likely to quit with professional support and stop smoking medication than if you try it alone.
