Now that the number of new cases of swine flu is falling, the National Pandemic Flu Service will stop from midnight on 10 February 2010.
If you think you may have swine flu, you should call your GP.
If you are diagnosed with swine flu, you will still be able to arrange for a friend to collect antiviral treatment locally. You can also call NHS Direct on 0845 46 47 for information.
Swine flu has not yet gone away. If you are in one of the higher-risk groups, are pregnant, or have a child aged between six months and five, then you should arrange a swine flu vaccination through your GP.
The H1N1 swine flu virus remains the dominant flu across the world, and we expect it to be the main flu virus in the next UK flu season, as well.
