A Tobacco Control Plan Briefing Event was held at Sandy Park Conference Centre on 30th June 2011.  The event was well attended by colleagues from the Fire Service, children’s centres, youth work, dentistry, district councils, health centres, Smokefree South West, NHS Devon, Health Promotion Devon and the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital.  The event was an opportunity to look in detail at the ambitions set out in the Coalition Government’s Tobacco Control Plan that supports its White Paper “Healthy Lives, Healthy People”.  Presentations can be downloaded by clicking on the relevant presentation below.  The presentations were followed by a workshop that formulated actions to feed into the Smokefree Devon Alliance’s Action Plan for 2011-12.
