The NHS Devon Primary Care Team is responsible for managing all Community Pharmacy contractual areas.

From preliminary consent and new pharmacy applications in line with the NHS Pharmaceutical Services Regulations 2005 through to commissioning and monitoring Enhanced Services and undertaking Pharmacy contract review visits.

We are also responsible for Enhanced Services which include Chlamydia Testing Pilot, E H C (Emergency Hormonal Contraception), Needle Exchange, Not-Dispensed, Out of Hours, Stop Smoking, and Supervised Consumption.

Other areas include Contract Visits, ETP (Electronic Transfer of Prescriptions), LPC negotiation, Multi-Disciplinary Audit, Pharmacy Forums, Public Health Campaigns and Waste Collection for patient returns and unwanted medicines.
